Youth
PGEO recognizes the potential of youth as agents of change. Our youth programs are designed to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities they need to contribute effectively to their communities and the broader society. The following activities are central to our youth initiatives:
- Sport Programs: PGEO organizes various sports programs to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership among youth. These programs provide a platform for young people to engage in healthy activities, build social connections, and learn the values of discipline, fair play, and perseverance.
- Education Programs, Especially English Classes, and Introducing the English Test Houses: We offer comprehensive education programs focused on improving English language skills. This includes regular English classes designed to enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Additionally, we introduce youth to English test houses to prepare them for standardized exams like TOEFL and IELTS, which are essential for higher education and career opportunities.
- Learning Course of Computer Programs: PGEO provides courses on computer literacy and various software applications, including Microsoft Office, graphic design, and basic programming. These courses are aimed at equipping youth with the digital skills necessary for the modern workforce and fostering their ability to use technology effectively in their personal and professional lives.
- Awareness Raising Program on Roles of Youth in Community Development: We conduct awareness-raising programs that focus on the significant roles youth can play in community development. These sessions cover topics such as leadership, volunteerism, civic engagement, and social entrepreneurship, encouraging young people to take active roles in shaping their communities and addressing local challenges.
- Youth and Climate Change: PGEO engages youth in climate change education and advocacy. We organize workshops and activities that educate young people about the impacts of climate change and empower them to take action. This includes initiatives on renewable energy, waste management, and sustainable practices, promoting a culture of environmental stewardship among the youth.
- Provide Training on Searching for Scholarships: Recognizing the importance of higher education, PGEO offers training sessions on how to search for scholarships and prepare strong applications. This training includes guidance on identifying suitable scholarships, writing effective personal statements, preparing for interviews, and understanding the application process, enabling youth to access educational opportunities globally.
